Hyperon-Nucleon Scattering Data

These pages will give you the (almost?) complete database of experimental hyperon-nucleon scattering data for low and intermediate energies. We only include data on reactions in which both the initial and final state consist of a hyperon and a nucleon. Other (inelastic) reactions are not considered!

Two ways to get to the data:

• The list of all references
  This is a list of all published references (articles in regular journals as well as theses) in which experimental results were reported (including preliminary data). Each reference contains a link to a page with more details about the experiment and the data.
• Data per reaction:
  These pages contain the ``official'' (i.e. data only published in regular journals, not in proceedings or theses) experimental data sorted on the initial interacting particles:
  • Λ p scattering
  • Σ^- p scattering
  • Σ⁺ p scattering
  • Ξ⁰ p scattering
  • Ξ^- p scattering
  with links to the appropriate pages with more details about the experiments and the data.

In order to construct the database all original articles and theses have been read and checked. Useful references turned out to be:
