YN scattering data: DO65

The experiment:

In the Saclay 81 cm Hydrogen Bubble Chamber which was exposed to a beam of K^- mesons from the Proton-Synchroton at CERN. Reactions of the produced Σ particles were studied. 80000 pictures have been scanned. 71 Σ^- p and Σ⁺ p scattering events are analyzed.
Preliminary results; final results in DO66.

The data:

Σ^- p → Σ^- p	total elastic cross section (SGT)
	momentum range number of SGT [mb] [MeV/c] events 140 - 170 26 232 +/- 47
Σ⁺ p → Σ⁺ p	total cross section (SGT))
	momentum range number of SGT [mb] [MeV/c] events 135 - 175 14 185 +/- 55
Σ^- p → Σ⁰ n Σ^- p → Λ n	total cross section (SGT)
	momentum range number of SGT [mb] [MeV/c] events 120 - 160 31 450 +/- 100

Notes:

The data are not corrected for Coulomb effects.
The ratio (Σ⁰)/(Σ⁰ + Λ) was determined based on a sample of 481 events: 0.39 +/- 0.03
